Grand Teton Catches First Light
13370 feet above sea level alpenglow catches the summit of Grand Teton, and heralds the start of a new day. Down below, a beaver lodge remains in shadow, patiently waiting for sunlight to reach the valley floor. The family of beavers that live here are possibly the most filmed of their species; having appeared in numerous natural history documentaries produced by the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and many others.
