Electric Peak, Yellowstone NP, USA

Electric Peak

This mountain was given its name after a survey team experienced an electric storm as they neared the summit. Despite being charged with static electricity one member of the team decided to try for the summit anyway. As he approached, with his hair standing completely on end, he received an electric shock that knocked him off his feet.
