Falling Foss, October, North York Moors, England

Falling Foss

Falling Foss is where the softly-flowing, diminutive stream of May Beck, drops over a rock step on its way from moor to sea. Tightly surrounded by trees it is difficult to get a clear view, as there is no access to the base of the water cut ravine. Autumn shows it at its best and this is a popular place to visit, particularly when the leaves begin to turn.
