Coal Tit
(Periparus ater)
Generally smaller birds are more active than larger birds. Coal tits are tiny birds and are accordingly hyperactive, barely staying still for a second. They are constantly on the move, flitting from place to place searching for delicacies to eat. These delightful birds will frequently visit garden feeding station, often zipping in and out at breakneck speed, and carrying off a nut or seed to be stored away for eating later.
