Wildlife and Nature Photography: Capercaillie
Capercaillie

Capercaillies are enormous birds and understandably are on every Scotland visiting birdwatcher's 'want to see' list. Unfortunately it's getting harder every year to do just that, in Scotland at least. Who knows why: climate change, visitor disturbance, habitat loss, urban sprawl? probably a mix of them all. In the not too distant future we may all have to go to somewhere in Scandinavia to see a capper, where bird populations are still strong and people populations aren't.
